New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week, held in February and September of each year, is a semi-annual series of events (generally lasting 7–9 days) when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and the general public. It is one of four major fashion weeks in the world, collectively known as the “Big 4,” along with those in Paris, London and Milan. NYFW has consisted of numerous branded events, such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York and MADE Fashion Week, as well as numerous independent fashion productions around town.

The New York Fashion Week for the 2023 Fall/Winter Collection takes place starting September 7th to the 13th. IMG announced early in 2015 that NYFW will be moved downtown into two unique spaces, Skylight at Moynihan Station and Skylight Clarkson Square. “These west SOHO and west midtown locations will enable guests to get to and from other show venues throughout the city more efficiently and connect directly to other cultural hubs”, said a spokesperson from IMG. This year it takes place at the luxurious Conrad Downtown New York.
