Kendall is a southern suburb of Miami bordered by the Everglades National Park, Florida’s famous wetlands. Most people in Kendall speak Spanish as their primary language followed by English, so expect to see businesses catering to this demographic. With its close proximity to Miami, Kendall offers all the access to a large city without the busy atmosphere.

Ground Transportation: Kendall is serviced by Miami Metrorail, which has two stops in the Kendall area. Metrobus has more comprehensive travel coverage in Kendall.

Packing Tips: You should expect very hot, humid temperatures in the summer, so prepare with light, breathable clothing. To cope with the frequent mid-day thunderstorms in the summer, carry light rain gear that can easily be stored once the rain passes.
