Taipei

A private flight into Taipei will reveal the shining capital of Taiwan, one of the most under-appreciated centres for tourism in booming South East Asia. Taipei escaped the clutches of of Communism that enveloped mainland China and in that time built a bustling, uniquely Taiwanese city replete with a massive collection of Chinese art, therapeutic hot springs and topped by the amazing architectural feat that is Taipei 101.

Perched high in the sky without the aid of a private jet Taipei is best viewed from South East Asia's biggest tower. Taipei 101 was for a short time the tallest building in the world and in the lower floors of the 1,670-foot icon you will find luxury stores like Armani and Louis Vuitton. After selecting a new Armani suit you can ascend the high-speed elevator to the observation decks for incredible 360 degree views of Taipei and its surroundings.

When you're done gazing over all of Taiwan from its tallest structure you should descend to enjoy some of Taipei's earthly pleasures. Head to the northern town of Beitou, known with the private-jet-set for its hot springs uber resorts, some modelled after those in Japan. Up above Beitou you can enjoy a soak for an hour or the entire day at one of its newest resorts; Villa 32.
